After years of use, some of your teeth can eventually be worn down and even chip or break. Sometimes these teeth can be restored and sometimes they cannot. If teeth are lost, or are already missing, dental implants are a great way to restore your smile.
At Fisher Dental, we provide dental implant treatment to replace missing teeth and also to provide stability for dentures. The implants seamlessly blend with your natural teeth and will blend in with your smile.
Why Do I Need Dental Implants?
Dental implants can be used to replace missing or decayed teeth or provide stability for dentures. Patients tend to prefer dental implants to bridges or partials because they are permanent and it does not require needlessly treating other healthy teeth. If you are missing teeth, dental implants are the most efficient solution.
Missing teeth can make it difficult to eat food, talk, and in some cases make people feel self conscious about smiling. Dental implants can solve these problems and make it easy to maintain good oral health, as they are easy to maintain.
How Long Will They Last?
Our dental implants are very strong and will last years with proper care. Good oral hygiene as well as abstaining from tobacco products will ensure their longevity. Proper care techniques are simple and include regular brushing, flossing, rinsing and keeping up with dental visits.
What Will The Procedure Be Like?
At Fisher Dental, we will first sit down with you and outline a treatment plan for your individual needs. Dr. Fisher will take a 3D scan to evaluate if you are a candidate for dental implants, and plan the treatment that is best for you. Whether you need single or multiple tooth replacement or need a denture that will stay in place, we will create the best plan for you.
Following the initial consultation, Dr. Fisher will digitally plan the implant placement procedure using the state of the art 3D technology. After the placement of the implant(s) is completed, your hard and soft tissue will heal around the implant with little to no discomfort. When the healing is complete, an abutment will be placed on the implant that will allow for a new crown to be placed. Dr. Fisher will make a custom crown that is designed to fit your teeth for maximum comfort and esthetics.
We are committed to perfecting your smile. Whether you need to replace a single tooth or need stability for a denture, we are here to help. Our TEAM will keep you informed of every decision and step in the process. Please let us know how we can help!
